Chateau Rousselle, Château Rousselle Emotion AOP Côtes de Bourg

The tannins from the fruit and the oak barrels are perfectly balanced. Aromas of red and black berries, raspberries, blueberries, and cherries are complemented by a hint of licorice, and the spicy, mineral notes of wild dried herbs create a richer impression. The exceptional taste is soft, creamy, and concentrated, with a rounded, fruity, and full-bodied finish. The finish is surprisingly long, and can be enjoyed for over 10 years, depending on the vintage. Allow to stand at room temperature 48 hours before opening, and decant half of the contents one hour before serving.

Winemaking method: Grapes from vines with an average age of 40 years. Cold maceration. Alcoholic fermentation and extended maceration to develop aromas and power. Aging for 12 months in 50% new French oak barrels and 50% one-year-old barrels. Weekly ouillage. Vinification in a state-of-the-art temperature-controlled cellar.
