Deep ruby ​​red with garnet hues. Aromas of sour cherry, ripe blackberry, and cassis are complemented by hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and freshly ground pepper, along with hints of tobacco, leather, cocoa, and coffee, giving the wine a sense of depth and complexity. Powerful and full-bodied, the firm tannins blend into the bitterness, allowing for a well-rounded flavor. The long-lasting toasty aroma is also excellent. Expected to age for more than 10 years.

Winemaking: 50-year-old vines, yielding 1.3 liters per vine. Hand-harvested at the end of September. After careful selection and crushing, the grapes are fermented in small, temperature-controlled vessels. The wine is macerated for just over a month. Maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for six months in new, medium-toasted French oak barrels.
