Ruby red in color. With a wonderful personality and a persistent, concentrated, intense aroma reminiscent of ripe pomegranate and red cherry, this wine has a warm, full-bodied taste. This is the only DOCG wine from Sicily.

Ageing: 10 months in new medium-toasted French oak barrels (50%) and 8 months in the bottle in the second year (50%).
